How do I know which rebate is right for my home?

How do I know which rebate is right for my home?

The best place to start is by consulting a contractor from the TVA EnergyRight Quality Contractor Network. If you’ve got an upgrade in mind, like replacing an HVAC system, a TVA-vetted contractor can assess your home’s heating and cooling needs and make recommendations based on your budget, energy efficiency goals, and your home’s heating and cooling needs.

If you’re undecided about whether to pursue one type of upgrade over another, say water heating or new windows, an easy place to start is with our free DIY Home Energy Assessment. You’ll answer questions about your home’s energy efficiency and receive a customized report detailing where repairs or replacements could make the biggest difference to your energy use and energy bill.

We also offer an in-person Home Energy Evaluation in partnership with participating local power companies. Your evaluation will be completed by a TVA-certified Home Energy Advisor who will provide you with a prioritized list of home energy upgrades, from DIY options to professional installations.

Our customer service representatives can talk through your options with you. Reach TVA EnergyRight’s Customer Support line at 1-855-237-2673.
